Cooking pizza
Who knows pizza? Everybody! Who knows how to cook an original pizza? Just a little less than everybody... Pizza is born in Naples a beautiful city in the middle south of Italy. It is a sunny city in front of the sea, with funny people who are know for their passion for music and cooking and arts. Pizza is cooked with double zero flour, salt, natural leaven and water. Put 1 kg of flour, a spoon of salt and mix them. Now mix leaven and water and afeter you mixed them, add this to the flour. Mix all and you will get a paste. Put it on a cup, cover it with a sheet and wait 4-5 hours. After 4-5 hours you got the paste has grown up, and you can start to prepare the base of pizza. Cut parts from the original paste and smooth it in a circular shape, a thin shape too. Now you have to put something on it. The original pizza is made with tomato gravy and "Mozzarella di Bufala", a typical cheese coming from Naples. It is a sweet and sour fresh cheese known all over the world with a great taste. So put the tomato gravy on the circular pizza paste and slice the Mozzarella and put it on the pizza. So put it on the over, already heaten 180° C, and wait for 10 minutes. According to your personal oven be careful not to burn it! Leave it from the oven if you think is already cooked. When pizza is finaly cooked, put on it some olive oil, the best oil to put on is "Olio Extravergine di oliva". Pizza is cooked the real "Pizza con la pummarola ngoppa!" |
